Jharkhand NEET PG Counselling 2024 has been started. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the notification at official website neetpg.jceceb.org.in.
JCECEB is the conducting authority of Jharkhand NEET PG counselling. Candidates who are seeking admission in Jharkhand medical colleges, may participate in these counselling events. Through this counselling, candidates will be able to get medical PG admissions such as MD/MS or PG diploma courses. As per official notification candidates must register at official website on or before 25th November, 2024.

Jharkhand NEET PG Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility Criteria
It is a requirement that the candidates appear in the NEET PG 2024 examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
The candidates must have a domicile of Jharkhand if they wish to apply for the state quota seats.
The internship should have been completed (in March 2024), and an MBBS degree from an authorized medical college is a prerequisite.
Counselling Authority
Elsewhere, the NEET PG counselling is overseen by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). They will make all announcements and release updates through their site.
Types of Seats Offered
- Govt Quota Seats: Students with Jharkhand domicile are eligible for these seats only.
- Management quota seats: These are obtainable in private medical colleges for all concerned persons.
- AIQ Seats: These are for candidates from all over India and are run independently by MCC.
Counselling Process
1. Online Registration
The first part of the procedure involves registering on the official portal of JCECEB. Registration involves creating an account, providing personal, and academic details and paying a non-returnable registration fee.
2. Document Upload
It is required that significant records like those of the NEET PG scorecard, MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, domicile evidence, or any other evidence should be uploaded. Make sure that all documents are as per the required rules otherwise they may be rejected.
3. Publication of the Merit List
Counselling authority will publish the merit list for counselling.
4. Filling of Choices and Locking of Choices
Candidates will now be given an option to select the colleges and course of their choice. One must be wise while filling the choice keeping in mind the rank, the number of competitors and number of seats available.
5. Seat Allocation
The allotment of the seats is done on the basis of the rank, reservation given to the candidate and the preferences filled by the candidate. The provisional seat allotment result shall be published on the website, candidates have to give standing for the same.
6. The Reporting to the Colleges
After a seat is allotted to a candidate, he/she is required to go to the college to which the seat has been made available, for fee payment, verification of documents etc. Not reporting may therefore lead to loss of the made.

Be Informed: It is important to always open the JCECEB notifications so as to view the timelines and procedures that are quite crucial to the submission of your application. Not adhering to the key timelines might threaten your chances of being accepted.
Examining Ranks: It is important to check out the particulars of previous years’ cut offs controlled for quite important colleges relative with the NEET PG ranks held.
Alternative Preferences: Such preferences should always be in the mind, in case one preference is not available: don’t expect high any further.
