What is NEET MDS 2025? 

Your gateway to MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) at any Government, Private, or Deemed University in the country is the NEET MDS. NEET MDS is an exam conducted at the national level by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and as such is compulsory for all professionals aiming towards an upper level in Dentistry.

NEET MDS Eligibility

Basic Eligibility 

Educational Qualification 

  • A BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree is compulsory under the recognized institutions of the Dentists Act, 1948. 
  • Completing the compulsory rotating internship is a requirement which you must finish prior to or on 31st March 2025. 

Provisional/Permanent Registration 

  • Registration with the State Dental Council or the Dental Council of India (DCI) is a prerequisite. 

Nationality 

  • Applications can be accepted from both Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). 

Seat Reservation 

  • Make sure that you have the necessary documents required with respect to the reservation criteria (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD).

Applying for NEET MDS 2025 My Application Process Is as Follows

The process for applying for NEET MDS 2025 is simple to follow. You only have to follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Registration

  • Click on the link to NBE official website.
  • Open an NBE account with your email, phone number, and some basic information.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  • Sign in and fill out the forms provided.
  • Make sure to include your personal details such as education and internship.

Step 3: Upload Your Documents

As per the format, you need to provide documents in the scope requested. Below are the documents lists needed to upload.

  • Your passport size photo
  • Your signature in scanned format
  • Internship Completion Certificate, where applicable.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

  • Payment can be made through online mode. General applicants are usually required to pay approximately ₹4,250, whereas candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories will pay ₹3,250.

  • Download the confirmation page and keep it for future references after submitting the form and fee payment.

Having knowledge of the syllabus will ensure that there is proper preparation. The dental syllabus issued by the Dental Council of India (DCI) for BDS studies covers the NEET MDS curriculum.
