Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGMET) will start UP NEET PG counselling 2025 after the result. DGME, UP is the conducting authority for medical PG admissions in Uttar Pradesh. The counselling will be conducted in various rounds ie. round1, round 2, round 3, mopup round and stray vacancy rounds.
DGMET is responsible body to conduct NEET PG counselling for all government and private medical colleges. Through this counselling eligible candidates will get allotment in MD, MS, and PG diploma courses.
UP NEET PG counselling 2025 Overview
Counselling process has been started by the DGMET, Uttar Pradesh. The counselling events will be completed in various rounds. There will be three rounds of counselling including one mop-up round. There are total 800 seats to be filled through NEET PG counselling in Uttar Pradesh.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed MBBS from Uttar Pradesh or have Domicile from are eligible for admission to the government, state, private, and deemed universities seats.
- Candidates who are not domiciled in Uttar Pradesh and have completed their MBBS degree from a college outside UP can apply for private medical seats only.
- The applicants must have completed their MBBS degree from a medical university recognized by the NMC.
- The candidate must have qualified for the NEET PG 2025 with a minimum cut-off mark.
- The candidate must have completed their mandatory one-year internship before the cut-off date.
- The candidate must have NMC and SMC registration.
