Eligibility Criteria Of MBBS Telangana

If you want to pursue MBBS from Telangana medical colleges or medical institution, you need to comply with the eligibility criteria of the college and the admission conducting authority. The core eligibility criteria are given below.

1. The candidate applying for MBBS should be an Indian citizen or an NRI/ PIO/OCI. He/ she should be obeying the non-local status certificate in Telangana.
2. The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as of 31^st December of the academic year.
3. The candidates must have pursued 10+2 education from a recognized institution with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects. The General category student must have secured 50% marks and 40% marks must be obtained by the reserved category candidates.
4. Qualifying NEET-UG is also necessary.

 MBBS Admission Procedure

After writing the NEET examination, the students who have qualified the NEET entrance examination are allowed to take a step forward to the MBBS admission. For admission, students are required to fill the online application form for admission. You have to fill details, NEET scores, ranks, etc.

The students will be called for the counseling rounds after the scrutiny of the counselling application form. Now a list of eligible candidates will be published by the counselling conduction committee. Note that there will be separate counselling for state quota and management quota seats. The candidates who have not passed NEET-UG will be disqualified from the admission process. The students are required to achieve minimum cut-off marks to get admission.

Selection Process
