Course Duration for Study MBBS in Russia

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery usually known as MBBS is a long professional course. It takes 6 years’ duration to complete this course. Russian Universities have fixed this duration for both local and international candidates. It is upon the candidate to choose their preferred language. International students also learn Elementary Russian language to communicate with local patients during their internship.

The course is available in two languages namely; Russian and English language. It will take 6 years if you choose your preferred language ‘English’. Studying in Russian language takes 7 years.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Interested candidates should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December for the following year.
  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 Education system or any equivalent examination from a recognized board of the country.
  • Candidates must have passed higher secondary education with the major subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Candidates must have obtained 50% marks in the above-mentioned subject in 10+2 education and 45% marks are required by the reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST) for the same subjects.
  • Candidates must be National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) qualified.
