Eligibility Criteria- MBBS Admission In Rajasthan
Unlike other states of India, MBBS admissions in the private and public medical colleges will be done through the NEET UG national entrance examination. Every year, lakhs of students appear in this mega examination for medical and dental students. To appear in NEET-UG, students have to satisfy the eligibility criteria given below.
Age– Age of the students should not be less than 17 years and would not exceed 25 as on 31st December of the academic year. Additional 5 years age relaxation are offered to the reserved category candidates.
Nationality– Indian/NRIs/OCI card holders can apply for admission.
For 85% state quota seats– The mother/father of the applicant has resided for at least 10 years continuously. On the other hand, the students had studied in Rajasthan for continuous five years from recognized institution of Rajasthan.
Education– The candidate must have secured 50% marks in PCB and English subjects I 10+2 education. However, the candidates of reserved category need to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in PCB subjects.
Admission Process
