Pravara Medical Trust is the parent organization of this institute founded in 1972 in a small isolated village Loni in Ahmednagar District by a visionary Padmashree Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil.On September 29, 2003, the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development created Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences University under Section (3) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act 1956.
The university has received a ‘A’ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has been authorized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university campus encompasses a space of 116 acres. There are 295 faculty members at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. The university provides 11 diploma courses, UG, and PG levels. MBBS Fees Structure
The annual fees due by candidates admitted to the constituent Colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences will be updated on an annual basis. The fee for the academic year MBBS course is 16,25,000 for the general category and $ 67200 for the NRI/OCI/FN/Management category.
- The first-year eligibility fee will be 5% of the tuition rate.
- There is no capitation fee or any other hidden price at the University.
- Fees for the 2022-23 batch will remain fixed for three years, after which they will be increased by 15% and 10%, respectively, for the same batch.
PIMS Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Course
The desirous candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the institution admission committee. Before applying for MBBS, interested students should be aware of the eligibility conditions.
• To be eligible for admission to the MBBS degree, applicants must have finished class 12 in the science stream with the required marks from a recognized board.
• Applicants from the general category must obtain at least 50% in PCB topics, while candidates from the reserved category must obtain 40%.
• National Eligibility Entrance Test) is a national level offline MBBS entrance exam. You must pass the NEET exam if you wish to study medicine in India or abroad.
• The candidate’s age must be at least 17 years old. The maximum age limit for the MBBS course, according to the NEET, is 25 years.
PIMS Admission Process
Admission to all Medical/Dental Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs will be based on NEET performance.
The DGHS will handle admission to MBBS/BDS/Ms/Ms/MDS at constituent colleges of deemed universities (Director General of Health Services, Govt of India ).
Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the official website on a regular basis for notification, registration/application process, and counselling process about admission process of MBBS/BDS/MD/MS/MDS.
Admissions will be made solely on the basis of merit, with the aggregate marks received in the qualifying test being used to determine merit. In the event of a tie in the qualifying exam, the grades for the PCB group will be compared to determine merit.
