Bihar NEET Counselling 2024: Registration, Dates, Seats, Quota and Process

Bihar NEET Counselling 2024 will be held online for MBBS and BDS admission in Bihar. BCECE Board will release the counselling dates after NEET-UG result. BCECEB stands for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is conducting authority of Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024. Candidates who are seeking MBBS admission in Bihar, should participate in online counselling process.

The BCECEB will conduct the counselling for both MBBS and BDS course in the state. Students can apply for 85% state quota seats through this counselling. MCC is responsible for rest 15% seats through all India quota. This is a combined counselling for both Government and Private medical colleges of Bihar.

Bihar NEET counselling process will start in the month of June 2024. Candidates who have passed NEET with valid score can register through BCECEB official website. There total 2356 MBBS seats in Bihar’s medical colleges including 1206 government and 1150 private MBBS seats. Candidates need to register online official portal to participate in counselling events. The BCECEB will organize whole counselling in four rounds. Candidates can apply for two main rounds of counselling 1^st and 2^nd. If seats are vacant after two main counselling, The BCECEB will conduct mop-up and stray vacancy rounds.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar NEET Counselling 2024

Candidates who want to study MBBS in India, must follow the required eligibility criteria. Check the eligibility criteria below to participate in the counselling process.

• Age Limit – Candidates age should be minimum 17 years. The minimum age limit will be calculated as on 31^st December, 2024.
• Candidates must be citizen of India and domicile of Bihar state.
• He/she must have passed 12^th class with physics, chemistry, biology and English from a recognized board.
• Aspirants must score minimum 50% for general category, 40% for SC/ST and 45% for PWD candidates.
• He/she must be qualified in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2024) with valid score.

Bihar NEET Counselling 2024 registration and Counselling Process

Candidates who want to participate in Bihar counselling 2024, should follow given steps. Here, we will explain complete step by step process from registration to allotment.

Registration and Fee payment

• Visit BCECEB official website to start the registration process of Bihar MBBS counselling.
• Register yourself using your mobile number and email id. Verify account using OTP method sent on mobile number as well as email.
• Note down user id and password for further use.
• Complete the application form by entering personal details, educational details and uploading photograph/signature.
• Review the application and go to next step of payment.
• Pay the prescribed counselling fee online through debit/credit cards or net banking.
• Download the system generated filled application form and take a printout of it.

Choice Filling and Locking

Now the BCECEB will start the choice filling as per schedule. Do choice filling by login using user id and password created during registration.

Portal will display list of private and government medical colleges. Add colleges to user choice list and re-arrange them as your preference. When you are complete with your choices, don’t forget to lock them.

Allotment List and Document Verification

The conducting authority will publish the allotment list of selected candidates. Get your documents verified and join your program.
