Universal Medical College or Universal College of Medical Sciences was established in 1998, basically located in Bhairahwa region of Rupandehi. It is just 15 Km away from Lumbini city known as the Birthplace of Buddha. At the time of establishment it only offered MBBS and BDS course but now it also offers other branches of medicine like MD, MS, Etc. The main purpose to establish this institution is to provide higher education and medical treatment at an affordable price.
College is affiliated to Tribhuvan University and got recognized by the Nepal Medical Council. It is one of the top medical institutions in Nepal because of its different characteristics. Eligibility Criteria
UMC offers many specialized courses in Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry and Surgery, in order to be a part of any of its courses, you have to fulfill the criteria first. Criteria of this college is very simple and easy;
- Candidates must have completed their higher Secondary education or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board of council. Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks with the major subjects like Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English.
- Candidate’s minimum age should be 17 years old or as on 31st December of the same year.
- It is very compulsory for each applicant that he/ she should be a NEET qualified. Try to secure valid marks in examinations, to get admission in the best medical college.
- Apart from this, an interesting candidate must be physically and mentally fit and focused toward their goal.
Admission process
