Karnataka NEET counselling 2024 stray vacancy round starts from 19th Nov, 2024. Complete schedule is out. Candidates who want to take admission in Karnataka, should participate in Karnataka NEET UG counselling events. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is the conducting authority of all the counselling events. The process is completely online and candidate need to visit KEA official website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.
The counselling will be done for both all government and private medical colleges in Karnataka. The counselling will go through several rounds. There are two main rounds of the counselling and if seats are vacant mop-up round counselling will be held. There may be another counselling round named stray vacancy round. Candidates who are seeking MBBS admission in India may participate in counselling.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024
Eligibility criteria for KEA NEET counselling is same as other state. The candidate must meet following eligibility criteria to get MBBS admission in Karnataka.
- Candidates must have successfully quality NEET-2024.
- Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC (Pre-University Course) or class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- For candidates belonging to certain reserved categories (SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B), the minimum requirement is 40% aggregate marks in these subjects.
- Be an Indian citizen/OCI/NRI with valid certificates.
- Non-Karnataka residents are not eligible for NEET MBBS Counselling under the reservation criteria in the state.
Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024 Registration Process
In order to participate in the counselling process, candidates must register online. There are various steps in the counselling process to follow-
Registration and Login
Visit the KEA official website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ to register. Complete your registration by entering personal details such as name, parents name, DOB, email and mobile number. Create your unique password and don’t share with anyone.
Fill the application form
After creating login details, fill the application form. In this step you will require to enter contact information, corresponding address, category. Also submit acadmic details as per requirements.
Upload documents
In this step you need to upload all the required documents. Upload scanned copy of coloured photograph, scan copy of signature and thumb impression.
Pay the prescribed application fee
Now pay the prescribed application fee as per category. Candidates may pay the registration fee at official portal through debit/credit cards, net banking or e-challan. After submission of payment complete the application form and download confirmation page.

Login again using id and password to start the choice filling. The list of colleges will be appeared add them to your choice list. You can add new colleges and re-arrange them as per your choice. Save the list and lock your choices.
Check the allotment
KEA will publish allotment result publicly on its official website, check it out.
Report to college
Visit the college with your allotment letter and supporting documents to confirm you admission.
